Rae, RVT

Rae has over 10 years working in veterinary medicine (through emergency and general practice!). Her time in the field has taught her the importance of bridging the gap between pet owner and the back staff. She strives to create an environment that includes you in your pets choices every step of the way. She appreciates the opportunity to meet and snuggle your new puppy and kittens in between the emails, excel spreadsheets, and invoices.

Rae earned an AS - Veterinary Technician degree, holds her Registered Veterinary Technician license in the state of North Carolina, and is currently working toward a Fear Free handling certification. She also holds certifications as a dog trainer and groomer.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time reading, drinking coffee, and relaxing with her family on her ever growing farm. She has an Australian Shepherd, a rescue German Shepherd, 4 rescue cats, 3 outdoor cats, and a large chicken flock.
