Dr. Amanda Chapman was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. She moved to Blacksburg, VA and earned a Master’s degree in Biology. She decided to stay in the southeast and graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and geriatric medicine. She has experience in local wildlife rehabilitation and is working on increasing her knowledge of backyard poultry medicine. 

Dr. Chapman lives in Burlington with her wife, 3 cats and 3 dogs. Outside of work she loves to read, thrift shop and watch scary movies.
